The delicious Lemon and Blueberry Soufra Fillo Pastry dessert has taken the world by storm and we have seen people all around the world bake it over and over again.
This dessert gets its name from the Greek word for ‘ruffle’. ‘Soufra’ is the Greek word for ‘ruffle’. The Filo Pastry is ‘ruffled’ or folded in a concertina design which creates extra pockets for the custard to seep into.
This dessert uses the same technique as the famous ‘Tiktok Fillo Crinkle Cake’ and also goes by the names ‘Filo Crinkle Cake’, ‘Fillo Pastry Crinkle Cake’ and ‘Phyllo Crinkle Cake’.
